Ok i see that people have over clocked there m15x but i cant find a guide, Bios, program, PLL, ANYTHING ?! I have been searching for 2 weeks and i am now more angry then upset. All i found was a guy named Ahmed that was working on unlocking the X36 Bios but never finished. Anyone think they can point me in the right direction?

    TL ; DR - How do i overclock my Area-51 m15x?

I don't know about ATI cards, but it is very easy to OC Nvidia by reflashing GPU BIOS with nvflash, so I wouldn't recommend OC'ing m15x because of very poor cooling system. You will just end up with more fried cards than any good.

Download NVFlash 5.134.0.1 for Windows | techPowerUp

Oh, I see. Intel CPU are multiplier locked so unfortunately there is no way to OC it. There is some tool to change FSB (setFSB) speeds by altering frequency generator ICS, but as far as I know m15x is not supported.

The easiest way is just to upgrade your CPU to T9300 or T9500 which are cheap or get x9000 extreme with unlocked multiplier if you are ready to cash out more.

yea i tried setFSB but i couldnt figure out the PLL :[

Also buying a new CPU would require takeing everything apart and re-pasting >.<

EDIT : i also tried setpll but cant figure that about either.

Ok so i bought the x9000 and it work perfectly and cooling is surprisingly good. How would i go by overclocking/undervolting now ?

I have tried SetFSB but i cannot find the PLL and RMclock wont allow me to move the slider. My bios(X36) isnt any help either with nearly 0 options.

Download throttlestop, if the bios does not support it, click the unlck button at the bottom, and increase the multiplier. If stability is an issue, increase the voltage (VID).

You sir, are a boss(i didn't even think of ThrottleStop) ! I finally, after I don't know how long hit my 3.0GHz(3.2Ghz actually) goal for that CPU. Its an old system(my backup) but upgraded to max and tweaked to perfection.
