Does anyone know if there are any disassembly guides/videos for the laptop? I don't want to disassemble the whole laptop, but if I can't find a guide by tomorrow I just might have to go that route.
I'd like to remove the hinge cover (to access the hinges so I can loosen them up a little bit). I've removed 2 screws from the battery bay that line with the cover. Is there anything else or can I just pry it off?
2nd thing I'd like to get to is the display connector on the motherboard (just want to make sure its connected properly since my display is giving me a green tint (black background at boot up is completely green). When I connect the laptop to an external source via HDMI it looks perfectly fine, so it's either a bad connection to the display or a bad display (never seen that problem before).

WOW. I thought the M1710 was bad enough to disassmble. This thing made the m1710 look like cake. What a horrible construction. I had some screw anchors that were rotted just like the hinge cover anchors. I had to disassemble my m15x's twice each just to switch around parts to diagnose my bad display. In the end it was just a bad connection to the display. Takes nearly 20-30 minutes per laptop to disassemble.
Area-51 m15x disassembly Guide?
