    Hi guys!

I'm sorry for being able to providing so little information about the system right now. I'm helping a friend remotely, if no-one has a quick solution to the problem, I'll bring the system over to my place and then i could probably give you guys some more information.

He told me that his system is having problems with performance, as for the graphics card, Radeon HD 5870. He has done a benchmark of the system, and his system compared to a lot of others are underperforming.
    SPECS:

    6 GB 1333 MHz (3 x 2 GB)
    1 GB ATI® Radeon™ 5870 HD
    Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 930 (2.80GHz, 8MB cache, 4.8GT/sec)
    500 GB (7200 rpm) SATA-HDD

Here is the link for his benchmark:

Here is the link for other system's benchmark:

Can anyone tell what the problem with the system is? He is experiencing bad performance overall in all games, games like GTA IV, Need For Speed Shift.
Game starts, and then it takes 2-5 seconds before he get an major drop to like 1 FPS pr. 40-60 seconds.

Other applications such as Vegas Studio, Siberius, and VLC works like a charm.

Could this be because of the system running on the integrated graphics instead of the HD5870? Is this a common problem with the Aurora system? Any thoughts?

    Thanks guys!

    - Scott.

Confirm that it is not on integrated graphics, make sure it is also not on power saver mode. I would make sure his drivers are all current as well.
