Hi there, This is my old Alienware laptop which has undergone many driver changes and the like over the years. I'd like to upgrade to Windows 7 64bit as I get the idea the processor was built to run at 64 bit frequency. I've heard there are some driver issues but i'm thinking the Vista 64 drivers are backward compatible aren't they? I'm currently running 7 32 bit and I'm hoping to get a performance increase by upgrading. It's very hard to find tech support for this laptop on google so I figured it was time I asked for myself.

So here's what I need help with:
-Will I be able to run Windows 764bit and will I get a performance increase of any kind?
-Are there any good driver resources where I could find everything for my specific model? I've found there's quite a few M9700 laptops with varying processors and network cards. I can dig up more information if someone's willing to help me find specifics. I've posted a bunch of CPUZ information below if its of any use. Thanks in advance!
