I have an M9700, and I'll start my first post by saying it was a big waste of money. This thing has been through motherboards and video cards faster than anything I've seen. It's constantly overheating, it's just too inefficient of a cooling system for all the heat it makes. I just bought a decent cooling station to put under it, but I'm thinking I might just need a new video card. Below are my specs, but I have the dual SLi Nvidia graphics card. 512meg for the two. I bought this behemoth with the intention of gaming on the go but I never have time. I'd just like to have a reliable laptop that doesn't constantly overheat and shut down. Any comporable cards that run cooler? I don't really need dual SLi if it's hurting me. So, any suggestions? Thanks!!

Well if you want to go down to a single card solution the Geforce 7950GTX's from the m9750 work - one card will reduce heat significantly I would think. If anyone jumps in and suggests the HD3870 - it has been tested and does not work due to the nVidia chipset used in the system.
