Like can anyone gimme some clues as to what the Crossfire cable is called for the ATI mobilty 3870?
Cause after looking for days not a single IT store seems to know what the heck I'm talking about when I say a ATi Crossfire cable for laptops. And the dell alienware stores not helping much eiher. And I can't find any results eiher on ebay seeing as i have no clue what the actual name for it is.

So can anyone please help me out with the name or even gimme a direction where i can get one?

The only way your going to get one is through the legacy alienware support. On the system it is:
    "M17 (W840) CROSSFIRE CABLE"

thanks for the info but 2 problems i got with them is
1 they won't help me cause my system was bought in the UK so my account not registered with them n the UK branch plainly said we don't do old parts

    2 they won't entertain me cause it not a m17 but a m9750

now unless there is a way around these 2 problems they don't seem to wanna help my problem

Well if you told them it's for an m9750 then no they wont help you. You shouldnt be installing ATI cards in there eyes. If you however get a helpful rep and tell them you've got a dud m17 not on your account and need a crossfire cable you might have more luck.
