DEL Key don't work need to enter BIOS to change boot order. Laptop will not boot from DVD. Is there any other way to change the boot order? Maybe dos? I have an old Alienware Laptop Aurora 9700. Number Lock key will not work also.

PS the del key doesn't work at all neither in writing a text doc. I guess it is dead.

Someone installed Win 7 on this and the sound will not work I am trying to go back to XP to see if the sound will work again. No Audio device installed is the error.

Will a USB sound card work?

Usb keyboard? Buy a new keyboard? On my m5750 I think F12 also changes the boot device, you try that?

I ended up using a USB Keyboard. Turned out the del key and several F keys were not working. F11 got me to boot menu....... but with the working keyboard everything was accessible. Thanks.
