    Hi there,

i am still having an m9750 with an 8700m GT. Further i have a 9700m GT card lying around.

I would like to have that 9700m GT running at full Speeds but there are Problems:
First there are "MXM Structure" Errors on Start Up.
Second there is no way to have it with full clocks runnig.
Third there is Color banding on every gradient and everywhere.

Modifing the VBios can only help to get that Error not to appear an make a bit better clocks.

So maybe there are only 2 ways:
A Getting a Bios for the m9750 to support that card fully
B Getting a VBios which works fully for the m9750

The Problem might "simply" be the Bios of the m9750 cutting the 9700m GT off because its not directly supported.

    Anybody can help?

I don't think the BIOS of the M9750 is the problem. I used to have a 280M in there with none of those problems but the MXM structure error. Ran full clocks.

    Sorry for my English.
    Notebook Area-51_m9750
    Bevor: Nvidia_GeForce_go_7950-GTX
    Now: Nvidia_GeForce_9700M_GT

The Video-Card ist working like @mj12bot postet.
Driver: Nvidia 260.99 with Pieter's INF version 4.047 from laptopvideo2go
That the Card is not running in full speed doesent matter.

But the 30 beeps are stupid.
My Notebook doesnt shut down any more. It always restarts with 30 beeps.

Can any Person please help me with this:
"Modifing the VBios can only help to get that Error not to appear an make a bit better clocks"

    Thanks
    Nomos
