    Help - Alienware Area 51m Keyboard disabled

    Has anyone figured why this happens or a workaround for it.

    3 USB devices all of a sudden disconnect and with it the keyboard is disabled.

    Updating the drivers does not work. Disabling and enabling brings it back but this is not a solution long term.

    discovering in my device manager I have a cautionary icon under universal serial bus controllers that says unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed).

    Which drivers are these exactly and which ones are the best to use. This issue never happened before.

    After a bit of reading it seems people got their motherboard replaced. I have just had mine replaced and then this issue started.

    This happened to me once and that was when command center autoupdated. I fixed it by fully uninstalling it and reinstalling.

    Does your Bluetooth stop working as well as you USB ports?

    Only the track pad works am I right?
