I need to disassemble the Area-51 m15x Ripley screen to reattach the AlienFX cable that goes to the head. Does anyone know how to disassemble it?

You'll need to remove the bezel first to see what's there, once you've done that, it looks like you can then unscrew the hinge parts from the screen casing, this may be a problem if you've had to epoxy those on. Be very careful not to damage any of the hinge screws at the bottom of the screen casing as they're delicate.
Once you've undone the hinges, you should then have enough room to remove the screws the for the screen, which you'd then carefully pull out then remove the cables from it to get that out of the way.
You should then have access to those cables if they have fallen out.
You can give yourself more room to work with by removing the palm rest (loots of screws) then the screen itself but it shouldn't be necessary for what you're doing I think. -
I didn't mention this before, but the problem is on the rear of the lid. On the Alienware logo. When the computer is on AC+Battery power, it will flicker/completely turn off when the lid is closed. But when the system is just on battery power, it will stay on when the lid closes. No flicker.
Any ideas? -
Have you tried to reseat the cable? It's under the keyboard.

yeah thats the better plan, I was dismantling an m15x screen casing (ruined btw) and it's all soldered in there, the main lights connector is what to check first

and the lights connector is located under the keyboard correct?

yep, just under the keyboard if I remember right, it should be on the left I think?
