    Hello

Just toying with the idea of selling my M17 and just wanted a little input from you guys to see what its worth roughly.

    Specs are

    X9100 Extreme CPU
    4GB DDR2 Ram
    1900X1200 Display
    2 X ATI 4850 GPU's
    500GB And 320GB HDD's
    DVD Burner
    TV Card
Plus All The Usuals Like Wireless N And Bluetooth

I have modded the bottom cover also with one of the mods from this forum. Complete mesh bottom grill. Idle temps sit at 49-52 and under load hardley ever goes above 90.

Have yet to come across any game it cannot run smoothly.

I still love the laptop but hardly ever use it so thought it would be better appreciated with someone else.

    Cheers for any advice

    Marshall

Not as much as it is to you. With dual 4850's that beast will play modern games for atleast another year when the neext next gen comes out.

This is a tough call since it has decent power in a old chassis. Some like the old look some hate it.

If you get some one who really wants the old look with horses then 14-1600.

But realistically 1200-1400. I am talking about US dollars

Thanks for that moo. Pretty much the same sort of figures I was thinking. Just need to decie now if its worth me selling it or not cause it will be a long long time before I can ever get another with kids and all.

There is your answer, do not due it unless you are strapped for cash. Knowing murphys law some great game will come out and you will be kicking yourself. Keep it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That beast deserves to be used, pull it out of the garage, and do something with it.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo, dont do it! I bought my m17x in Iraq and another team member purchased the M17. The M17 is great and still plays the newest games esp with the updated cards. My bud sold his M17 and regrets it. You regret it too. Dont do it!

Thought about getting rid of mine, but ever since I've somewhat fixed the thermal issues I'm falling in love with it all over again :p
