Ok guys I got a really good deal on an older M15X. Just got it 2 days ago for a trade. Anyway Here is the problem. The guy that had it before me loaded window 7 on it and now nothing that has anything to do with alienware works on it. There is no longer a command center of any type. Also all of the colors are stuck on green with no way to change them. When I received the computer he only shipped me the computer the cord and a copy of windows 7. I want to get it restored back to the way it is supposed to be. Also I have no passwords to get into the hive or anything like that. So is there any hope of getting this little bad boy back to it glory days lol?

I would love any help. I have been searching around allot but have not found a good starting point.

    Thanks in advance.

Most of the drivers I've found for the m15x were generic drivers that were found automatically during my Windows 7 install. The Alienware Command Center still works with Windows 7 as well, so you can use that to change the color.

    Testosterone 580,

    This is for you.

This link will take care of all alienware associated drivers etc that aren't already pre-installed with Win7.
I installed Win7 64Bit and then used the drivers on this link to get the command centre working properley.

Just follow the order on the scree and it should all be ok.

Make sure that you follow the instructions for installing the registry fix for the keyboard lights as they wont work otherwise.
