Hi guy, I list what I have done to try to install the bios:

1)I prepared with rufus_v1.3.2, my usb pen drive with Win98SE_bootdisk.iso.
2)Then I copy the files that are the "Alienware M17 W840_029 zfactor VT MOD R2" in my pen drive.
3)Start my alienware with the pen drive, it tells me "BOOTMGR is missing".

    Where am I wrong?
    Please help me!

Sounds like you prepared the USB drive wrong. Have you tried it on another computer to see if it boots there? I always used the HP Boot Drive tool and had great results ( link )

Also have you tried a different USB drive? I have had problems with certain brands in the past.

Make sure the USB drive is set to boot first in the BIOS.

Also try unplugging the hard drive to be sure the laptop is not trying to boot from that instead of the usb drive.

You can follow this guide to prepare your USB key using the HP tool as protivakid pointed out.
