Hey, was your m3200 a DDR2 system? I ordered RAM from crucial and I didnt bother double checking because it just said "compatible with m3200" but they sent over DDR2, when I needed DDR. Just curious as to whether or not there was an earlier model of the computer.

yeah i had the last MB revision they did and it was a ddr2. you must have the 1st iteration of the m3200 which was the DDR board. i wouldn't trust crucial's "memory" compatibility website its frequently wrong. i only have 512mb sticks of ddr im sure you can find 1 gb sticks on ebay. i had an extra MB, but i sold it just like 2 days ago. you might email AW, or channel velocity, that's where i got the MBs from, they were like $30.

I was lucky enough to find the right chips on Frys.com.
They were a little pricey (about $54 each for 1gb) but they came with $30 mail in rebates :D. They'll be here on tuesday. I just hope I got the right thing. Thanks for the help (again :p )
