Be sure to visit the Dell Outlet before you buy this to take a look at what they have to offer.
-

-
baddddddd GPU's
Also what is the price? I can't help if I dont know that -
I would only put up a few hundred for that personally, and I mean a few, lol.
-
I could purchase it for $900.00

No, Absolutely NOT. Visit the dell outlet or ebay or even the for sale section of these forums.

I would get a M15x with a 5870 for that price if I was you just for the power and warranty.
I have owned every alienware system from the M17 on -
Eurocom is selling a used notebook with a 5870 and i series chip for exactly 1 grand, if you can't find a m15x as moo has said I would go with that.
-
No don't get it as the others suggest go to the Outlet store.
I got the one in my sig for 1257.00 after 15% off on 1/26/11

I can't link it, it's under Eurocom Outlet, it's a standard Clevo I believe, yetat a grand I think it's really nice I'll screenshot it for you though.
-
At $999 I don't think you can go wrong here,i-3 isn't the greatest chip, but I don't think it's that bad of a price, and anyone looking at core a core 2 duo, should be happy with a 5870 and i3 right?

Is it the EUROCOM W860CU Cougar 15.6-inch?
EDIT: Thanks I'm on the page now. -
900 is way to much.
I assume from the specs it's a M9750 (M9700i-R1)
The 8700 GT SLI sucks donkey balls and is also prone to defects.
The 9750GTX SLI would be the best option imo for this notebook.
In either case 900 is way, and i mean way to much. You should think 500 dollars for a cosmetically good version, with 9750GTX in SLI in technical great condition, with a faster processor and 4 Gb ram.
The setup you describe would be worth about $400, $900 is nothing short of a rip-off.
And don't expect top knotch performance (would still be quite decent though), you are buying a 3 year old laptop with aged components. -
M17x had alienfx lighting while the M9750 didn't have any. The M17 had light zones
It is a Area 51 M17x. The 8700 GT was the base SLI option with the M17x -
You can get an M15X from the Dell Outlet for $900(with the 15% off coupon):

Can you guide me as to where to get this 15% coupon you speak of? Thanks.
