I have a 9800 GTX video card, MXM 2.1 from a Clevo D900, will this card work in a M17? Thanks!

Should work but you will probably need to flash the OCZ bios on your machine as I doubt the Alienware one has support for it.

Yeah it should work, might need to update the BIOS to a non-AW revision.

However do note that you will never be able to add a second 9800 GTX into the machine and run it in SLi. You'll have to be fine with the single card.

because sli require an aditional chip to be integrated to the motherboard and as the m17 was made for ATI it does not include that chip wich require you to use a nvidia chipset
