I saw the M17x released Win 7 command center, so I decided to take a look, and sure enough, there is a new Windows 7 Command Center for the M17 in MyHive as well (v1.0.41).

There is also a Cyberlink PowerDVD Windows 7 patch in MyHive.

And here's the Win7 Touchpad Driver for the M17 too.

Marvie, am I assuming correctly that those of us who dont have access to the "my hive" section of the alienware site can still get the same updates from the dell drivers section?
-
Alienware MyHive is for M17, Area-51 m17x, Area-51 m15x, M9750 and lower.
M15x, and M17x are Dell products so you can get the updates from Dell. -
Thanks for the clarification!

for the M17x, just use the PowerDVD that came with the machine and update it (the program will guide you)
the Command Center (A03 version) is up for the M17x as well -
juste when i lose the user name i used for my hive -.- is there a way to recover it?
-
I just put a link, try that.
-

Good job Marvie.
I also made a new thread for m15x Windows 7 drivers...

Maybe someone can just host PowerDVD8 for you from their resource disk. It should not have anyway to distinguish between what system it is loaded on and since it is pre-activated should work.
-
just give me a second i'll post a link in a sec

you might have to login into my hive to get the link to work
