So my m17 came with vista and a free win7 upgrade.

I just reformatted my computer with alien respawn and realized that my command centre/fusion controller never really worked.
I have windows 7 now and the fusion controller was using lots op cpu and memory!! So I went to the my hive and downloaded a new driver for it which is supposed to be for windows 7. Right now alienfusioncontroller.exe is using 40 cpu and 1millionk of memory.

Is there any fix to this or is is simply a matter of turning it off. ( can I do that and still have the face recognition and what not working)?

No, but I uninstalled the command centre, and reinstalled it and it seems to be working fine now.
