The M9700 has an AMD single core processor, only up to 2GB's of DDR memory, and up to 2 Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS graphics cards.

The M9750 has an Intel Dual Core processor, up to 4GB's of DDR2 memory, and up to 2 Nvidia GeForce 8700m GT graphics cards.

The M9750 is new and faster.

NOTE: m9750 can fit 4GB worth of RAM, but can only see and use 2.5 to 3.5GB of ram, depending how much ram your video cards have.
