Need Command Center for Area-51/m17x Laptop

Hello everyone,

I have a legacy Alienware m17x (Pre-Dell version) that a fresh copy of Vista 64 bit has been installed on. However I'm having a problem getting the keyboard lights to work. This is due to not having the 64bit version of Command Center designed for this laptop. I have tried the newer versions of Command Center on Dell's website, but those don't work. The theme settings won't work and the keyboard lights either are turned off or stay one color without allowing me to choose pulsating or changing colors for the various sections.

I have searched for hours on this forum and other forums to find this Command Center software, but simply haven't found it. The links provided on one thread on here are now dead. If anyone has a copy of the 64bit version of the old command center, please let me know and where to download it.

I know for a fact that my links on here are not dead and contain the m15x command center. They have been reposted many times so please take a second look for my dropbox links.

 

Can you send me the link to the forum post you are referencing so I can be sure I'm directly at that page? Last evening I tried several links on this forum that were using rapidshare hosts, and other file hosts and each time I got file not found. If yours work, I definitely want to make sure I'm at the correct thread that has those.

 

I can look when I have time but it may be faster if you just look through my posts or the other m15x threads. It was re-posted several times.

 

You could try on MyHive (Alienware.com) if you still know the login info.

Still looks broken to me. I click forgot my password and am taken to a page in Chrome that shows an email field and does not load any submit button. I found the invisible button on the page clicked it after entering my email, and am then shown a page with black text on a black background that says "Thank You! Your password has been sent." Though I never get the email haha.

 

Well I was able to remember my details and it worked. I hope they fix the forgot my password soon.

Is this link still working? I tried to download the file but fileDropper indicated that the file was no longer available. Can someone upload this once more?

Is this the version that worked on the original Alienware m17x (pre Dell ownership), or the Dell version of alienware's command center? I want to make sure this is the original version before dell bought the company.

i also have a pre dell m17x r1 and in need of the command center is there anyone out there that still has it?? i have been looking for days and the link no longer works. any help is appreciated

 

If you search this forum I uploaded a link for m15X drivers. In there is the command center that should also work for your m17x. I know my links are still good.

 

Could i get that pre dell comaand center too? i´ve searched it too long now...

The M15x dropbox links I uploaded at one time I know are still good and should have command center. CC should be the same for the M17 as well. Search for those.
