My alienware area 51 m15x won't power on.
I will plug it in and the charging light and alienhead light will eventually turn on, then when i press the touch sensitive power button, it flashes once and stops responding. A little while after that, nothing at all happens, no charging light or anything, then after a while these lights will turn back on and I go through the same process. The alien head logo also turns off. The entire computer doesn't even try to turn on.

Any and all help or comments are appreciated.
    Thanks, William

Well, last time that happened to me because my graphics card was dying. I had exactly the same symptom. Try to remove it and boot on the integrated GPU.

Try this troubleshooting.Probably the motherboard, video card, memory or another component is not letting it POST. If you need parts you can go to Ztronics.com.

Try taking the battery out and unplugging the laptop. Leave it off for at least an hour. Afterwards plug in ONLY the A/C adapter leaving the battery out still. Try to turn it on and let us know how it goes. If you do need parts Ebay will be A LOT cheaper than Ztronics and I have yet to get a bad part from any reputable seller.
