I've installed Command Center for my M17, but think I've installed the Dell M17x version rather than the old legacy version - keep getting AlienFX detecting hardware error. Face recognition working fine, but can't change keyboard colors etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction where I can download the correct Command Center for the old Alienware M17, not Dell?

do you have the area-51 m17 or the area-51 m17x

in the case of the m17 you need to press fn+f10 to cycle betwen colors

    Thanks granyte,

It's the Area-51 M17. I can cycle through the colors as you suggested. It's just a bit annoying that on start-up I keep getting the AlienFX hardware error message - appart from that it all seems to be working fine.
