    area M17x r1 - battery not charging

    Hey so I finally got my area 51 m17x r1 together and everything seems to work, however I can't get the battery to charge. Normally I would think the battery was dead but in this case I am not sure because there are not lights on the system (when its turned off) so I am sort of getting the feeling that the laptop might not be charging the battery.

    does anyone have any idea what might be the cause of this.

    Could you please give me the parts number to the battery panel? I can't find that piece anywhere and I could use all the help I can get...Thanks in advance
