Hi im looking for a little help and advice

i just purchased new nvidia 9650m gt for alienware m5500i rev3

i have been told i need to mod the bios of this card and unsure how to do that
is there anyone who can advise on this issue and give step by step instructions
i have downloaded nibit as was told this will be required

i need to alter the following
    1. bypassing a 30 second long warning message that happens at ever bootup
    2. running the card at full performance clocks rather than the power saving ones

i have not received the card yet as it is still in possesion of our trusted royal mail :)

    any help would be appreciated
    many thanks

i have upgraded bios to run 4gig memory

I have the same laptop as you and all i have to say is good luck. I couldnt get any GPU to work in mine with 4gb bios, all of them state support for the previous 2gb bios. All the information I have found dates back to 2008 with nothing much mentioned past that, seems like everyone moved on to better projects. Even the card many people have stated to work with 4gb, Radeon HD3650, didnt work in mine. Several people say its luck of the draw with the card working.

Also my current card is a ATI x1400 and I have spent many of weekend tinkering with this, I hope you can find an answer.
