    m15x battery draining issue

    As the title reads I've encountered a very strange 'problem' with my battery. It's not exactly problematic but I'd like to know of any of m15x owners experience the same thing.

    First off, the battery is good and holds charge for at least an hour and a half of use.

    I first noticed something strange when I charged it overnight and I took it to class the day after. When I booted up, the battery was at 70%. I thought that I didn't let it charge enough but the problem reappeared.

    When I charge the battery and then take it out of the laptop, it holds its full charge (as indicated by the LEDs) for more than a week (at least).
    But when I unplug the laptop from the PSU and keep the battery in, it slowly drains power.
    Right now, I've left it for about a week and only one LED lights up. When I listen closely, I can even hear a faint electric 'screeching' noise.

    Before you ask, the computer is completely shut off, not just hibernated.

    It's my first high end laptop so I don't know if this sort of thing is normal. Or am I the only one?
