I've tried everything from holding the power button with and without the battery with the power supply/charger plugged in, tried reseating the memory, but the system will not turn on. This has happened once before and it fixed after I reseated the memory, cept this time it didn't work. I have tried calling Alienware but it seems that they no longer support this system even when its still on it's warranty (only a couple months left). Any suggestions?

    Demand a warranty replacement.

Seriously, I think you've done what you can. If you get no lights at all and a reset didn't work, it is very likely a hardware issue.

If your within warranty they have to fix it, it would be illegal for them not to.

Call back Dell again, what are they kidding??? When I had one of these I had some issues too and had one "tech" tell me to just get one of the new ones (which I eventually did), but that's besides the point. How can they refuse warranty service when it's still under warranty.

If the tech wont budge send an e-mail directly to the head man at dell and they'll squeeze the tech department to get it fixed.

Yup since it is an old model. They will have to replace it and you will probably be welcoming a new M15x. Not sure on what specs they will give you. They cannot deny any repairs or replacements since you have a warranty.
