    Windows 7 64bit
Handed down m17x ( i was not the owner first so no myhive)

Hello im new at this and have been going at this for a few days now lol i feel that im lost now

Trying to find the right order and the right CC i anded up using v.2.0.10, A03 it did let me change my colors but not the touch keys.
Then some how with trying to use other CC or something i ended up "losing" the keybored zones (other zones would then end up changing part of the keybored's colors zone 6 ends up changing the colors on the R side)

now i have used AlienFXLite-0.4 what let me change most of all my colors but it does not work on the center zone (stays dark) and the L zone stays blue same with the alienware nametag. Now when i click "go dark" the L side blue and nametag will start flashing (keep status zones on is not click"

ty for any help you can give

PS) i just let v.2.0.10, A03 update it self and then the center light came on L light still blue and when i do start the alienFX and at the "Getting Started"
it shows all the keybored zones plus even shows the old setup i tryed to use (all green) now if i click Tutorial i get an error about the program not working on 64bit and quits. When i click "cancel" the old set up is gone and i lose the keybored zones and the center goes back to dark

PS) just want to say the center is not 100% dark its more of the blue turning into the other color as if there 2 lights side by side :D

when using the AlienwareAlienFXTester.exe i can change all the colors but that L side and name-tag will stay blue and keep flashing
now if i turn everything blue they no longer flash

look like as if its "trying to" change the color but it cant ?

wanted to note that the tester says "board information (No board detected)".
I think this may have more to do with that this latop is made before dell and that this CC is made for dell lol :D

ok i got my zones back (didnt delete CC all the way )
but i still cant change the L side or the alienware name and the center i have little control over

can this be bc i may not be using the right CC ?
and the tester did end up finding the board information (1.00.35

Using CC i seen a laptop that has them lights on the front of the laptop (where the speakers are at ?)

    From the CC:
zone 10 (what is above the keybored ) change the color for R side to the center (on this CC that would be keybored zones 4, 5, 6 )

Now if when i change zone 6 it change the L side of the mouse pad and zone 5 change the R side

if this is bc of a CC and im not using the right one then what should i be using ? when i try to use
    M15x-M17x-CommandCenter-1033(x64)
i get errors the newer ones are the only ones that work out of the box
