I'm using the 169.25 driver and my games have incredible performance. When I tried using the 169.28 I was taking major hits. lol

caffeinated box, your computer has 2048mb ram, not 2047
sig error -
No, I have 2047. Thats what my computer says.
-
@Caffeninated - I know this is off topic but you should either change it to 2048 or 2GB. 2048MB is what you actually paid for, and 99% of people refer to it either as 2048 or 2GB, not the actual amount.
@Eight - I quoted you if that is okay. -
Not a problem
-
Ok, I'll change it. I just don't see the big deal. Pointless argument.
-
You don't see the big deal? That wasted 30 minutes of my life looking at that
now im just going to die earlier
im dying 30 minutes earlier thanks to u
OH FF... ITS 2048 MB NOT 2048 OMG -
Cheers to you mate.
-
-
@Caffeinated - Lol you didn't have to change it, I was just being picky
Hehe

Hello,
i'm using 64-Bit vista and looking for the driver for the PCMCIA-Slot and the MMC-Slot it doesn't seem to work and it is wrong messured under device-manager. Where can i find drivers for it ? -
-

-
I have a question, can I use the v174.16 driver on my 7950 GX cards?
-
Sure, especially if you are running Vista with SP1. I've been using it for about a month.

I've try to instal new bison cam driver, and it dosn't work... Black cam and "no cam" in bison "livecam"...
I had to go back with Alien CD drivers or the file "Camera_BS_13_XP_060103.zip"... -
I don't think they made a new bison cam driver for about 3 years. Atleast a non computer/manufactuer specific one. AW never seems to update their Bison drivers, had the same issue with my M7700.
-
ps : both are for Bisoncam NB Pro. -

I have a question. I am dual booting Vista with XP. Vista came with my notebook. I just realized that my touch pad doesn't work in XP. I have the latest driver too. What should I do?
-
I dont deinstall the old driver, this new driver done it for me automatic.. -
Hi This is my first post so go easy on me,
I recently got my first Alienware and i was pretty happy with it but i chose to have it shipped with vista for my sinns as waiting for xp was going to delay the unit by 5 weeks.
What i need is the SATA driver for the hard disk so i can build it in to my xp image using nLite. Anyone know where i can get this ?
Thanks -
If you check the software version after the update, it still appears the same. -
Hey, I'm having problems downloading the drivers from LaptopVideo2Go. Everytime I try to download it, it says Authentication Required and wants me to put in a username and password. So i registered on the website and everything but everytime I try to download it, it just wont let me. Even if I enter my username and password, it'll just ask me again and again. I feel kinda dumb haha, is it just me or is there something that I'm missing?

Again new RealTek High Definition Audio (v1.90)
Has anyone tried the NVIDIA 174.74 drivers besides me? I've got problems with rundll32.exe, but don't know if it has anything to do with the drivers.
eightd are you still on 174.16? You swear on that driver?
Greetings
walujam -
hey walujam...I've been getting the rundll.exe error ever since I installed 174.74...I've rolled back to 174.16 but am still getting it. It doesn't seem to have any real impact on the operating environment, I just acknowledge it and it shuts down the program (not even sure what program it closes)
any idea what causes this - any known fix? -
-
Lol EightD there must be a glitch or something because even after giving others rep I still can't give you that rep you deserve
-
-
Hmm... Something is up
. I'm going to throw a PM to Chaz later tonight to ask him whats up.
-
I solved the problem the way eightd described. I fully deinstalled the drivers and went back to the original Alienware drivers. Then I updated again to 174.16. Since then everything works fine.
I don't know the exact problem, but I seems that the nvconsolepanel of 174.74 easily crash.
@eightd You forgot to update the RealTek drivers to 1.90.THEY ARE ESSENTIAL!No, just kidding. Just another update...
Greetings
walujam -
