    m9750/m9700 service manual? or how to replace screen?

    I have a new screen coming for my m9750, but no clue how to get the old one off...

    google searches are failing me... :(

    Unscrew the outer plactic shell. Under there are two brackets holding the screen to the back. Unscrew them. The screen will be loose with the brackets on. Remove the connector on the back. Take the brackets off. Put them on your new screen. Reconnect it. Screw in place. Put the shell back on. Viola! 1920x1200 awesomeness!

    Really? I wondered how you could get a 1920x1200 screen for $50. There are new replacement screens only for $80, maybe.

    it was an auction for the complete screen/hing/etc assembly...


    any idea what other screens will fit?
