    I need to apply thermal paste on my 9800m gpu's

    -where?
    -How much should I use?

    You put a tiny dot of thermal paste on the GPU chip itself. Leave the memory sticking thermal pads on.

    Thank you, the thermal pads on mine appear to be loose.

    Do I spread the paste about so it makes even contact with the black heatsink?

    I put one pea sized dot in the middle and then use the force of the heatsink to spread the paste when it comes into contact.
