I have a m15x-r1 that I installed windows 7 on. The led lights are always the same color and I can't shut them off. I read that alienfx let you change the lights but can't find it. Anyone have it?

    Are you talking about a legacy 15x? Meaning - pre-dell 15x?

If so, you need to stick with the legacy fx program. The current Command Center which includes AlienFX is for the current line of Dell/AW notebooks.

For the legacy 15x, you'll need to check with the folks in the legacy subforum. Probably will need to get setup over @ the My Hive site ( http://support.alienware.com/Support_Pages/Support_Area.aspx)

If in fact you have a DELL/Alienware M15x (ALL POWERFUL), then the Command Center will include AlienFX. See this link:
    http://support.dell.com/support/dow...dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=402594

Remember, the Command Center I listed is only for the Dell/AW M15x.

Yes this is the legacy m15x not M15X. Is there a general program to use for led lights? Seems like this is way over my head to install it.

I tried the win 7 64 bit osd but it says cpu not supported. I think I installed the vista 32 bit osd since fn12 works and I can get the menu to shut off wifi and 6 other boxes to come up.
