I haven't been able to figure this out and it is driving me crazy. The brightness setting in my M11xR2 power profile keeps resetting itself to the minimum value for when the laptop is plugged in, so I keep having to reset it in order to see my screen. Does anyone know what causes that power profile value to change and how I can prevent it from doing so?

It actually does that on mine as well, very annoying.

Same here, happens after I leave the laptop for some minutes, the brightness doesn't go back up to the where it was before the display get's dimmed.

Ok this drove me crazy til I found the answer!

You HAVE to set it in Alien FX!

If you are tring to set it in windows it will not work. For some reason it is set to 9% in Alien FX

    Good luck!

Thanks Twisted, that fixed it! The settings are rather unintuitive. Even though "Auto Dim" was set to off, it was still being overridden by "Dim Timer". I set my Dim Timer = 0 and now the display no longer dims at all. Thanks again!
