    have no fear:

    Bug
Unfortunately, this unit does have a few bugs, that will probably be solved soon. First of all, the FN+F2 key is supposed to let you toggle between enabling/disabling battery charging. As of right now, it doesn't toggle properly, and you have to go into BIOS to manually change it. This appears to be a software issue, however, and shouldn't be too hard to fix.

I haven't noticed any other particular issues so far, since most of my time with this unit has been dedicated to benchmarking. I'm sure there are things here and there, but honestly, I'm quite amazed at how trouble-free the M11x has been.

so let's hope they'll give a software update soon :)

Here's my brief trip with Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta. Sorry for the bad quality video. I don't have the best camera or setup.

@kakeashi, nice try sharing those videos, but you could have included Fraps in them, how are we suppose to see exactly what FPS are you getting while playing?

No, low settings. But to be honest, it looked a lot better than I ever expected. I think here the CPU is definitely bottlenecking, mainly with a full 32 person server. Plus this is beta so we can only expect (hopefully) more optimized code with the final product.

I'm sure you could overclock the GPU a bit and it would help a little, but probably not a whole lot in this case.

@kakeashi, what's that V+ SSD like? I'm looking to get the exact same combo as you but have been held off since some reviews of the V+ are mediocre.

V+ is alright, i hear more good things about intel 25m something something, it has a faster read speed which i think is better.

im probably gonna switch to that and return this V+ because the one on new egg is only like 218 for a 80gb when this V+ was 350$ for 120, and i probably won't use 120.

yeah sorry, i have fraps on MY computer but not on the laptop, forgot ALLL about it. i shouldve had it up :( but to lazy to redo the videos so anything coming up next would have it

@kakeashi how well does a regular .avi/.wmv/video file run on Integrated graphics card?

I was just wondering that since for a longer battery life we need to switch to IGP. Just a thought if I can watch a movie on a flight.

I almost went with the V+ until I came across the same reviews you speak of... I went with the OCZ Agility instead - total of $300 after rebate for 120GB.

Awesome drive - various testing benchmarks on this machine are inline or better than the the reviews out on the web. WEI rates the drive @ 7.3

Also KoukiFC3S made a special video for me "Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer" on the SU7300 processor 4gb ddr3 ram and the HDD option. Not overclocked, without AA, everything high, but no effects.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdtXnwxeCkQ

Basicly the whole reason why I bought this baby :) right there!

I was basicly wondering the same thing, can you watch HD video without the Nvidia graphic card, but with the integrated card?

Very nice effort to make videos for all of these. Gave you some rep for your time.

I'm suprised Dragon Age Origins ran that fast on high. I honestly thought the processor would bottleneck it at high-seeming as I get a 10fps+ difference between running it with my quad at 1.6GHz and with it at 2.0Ghz!

oh no no no Jojos lol I meant on my desktop.. I played the game awhile back.. if its true as you said that there's US servers now I could be wrong because I was just in beta

S4 is a pretty decent previous game.. I think the m11x will handle it like a champ.

I also made a couple of gameplay vids last night, GF bought a new camcorder so I wanted to test it out. Links in sig on youtube. Include short videos of Dragon Age Origins, Crysis, and Starcraft II beta, settings shown and fraps. Don't mean to thread-jack figured no need to start a new thread and the title seems like a share thread =D

Cheers guys for the videos, it's great to see them performing so well on the m11x, thou could I request another WoW one but in a 25 man raid if possible, I've heard that it doesn't do so well but wanted to see in a video whether it's doable even with lowered settings.

Fallout 3 was the first game I tried and thus far I have had zero issues with the game and the performance of it. This is without overclocking as well.

yep turning mutlicore rendering on in left 4 dead 2 gives me around a 5-10 fps performance gain, and i also recommend checking out kaizen's optimization config for less lag during crescendos.

Don't use fraps, that program sucks. If I use it to record Crysis on my desktop, I get huge framerate drops! It isn't my PC's fault, specs are in my signature.
