    Mouse recommendations?

    I didn't mean to make the two issues seem related. Both the lower polling rate of the M705, and how slow the cursor moves across the screen even when the cursor speed is set to "fastest". They are minor issues though, and I doubt few people outside hardcore gamers would notice.

    I looked at the G700 at my local Frys the day I got my M705. I wasn't a fan of the different shaped buttons, but other than that, it looked great. I just couldn't see spending $100 for a new gaming mouse when my $70 G500 is only nine months old. I'm suprised my wife let me spend another $50 for the M705 as it is!

    Great info on the polling rate Hz and response time. I never knew that, or thought to look it up.

    What about the Razer Salmosa? does anybody own one? if so what are your opinions on it?

    I got an optical Targus wired mini-mouse brand new for 1 dollar on Ebay. It works wonders. I play Bad Company 2 and SC2.
