This is what I'm using. It's absolutely perfect. When I took the pics, I had my M11x, power cables, PS2/USB gaming remote, Several games all in the bag. I took a front, profile, and top view shot. I picked it up at the local shop on post where locals sell cheap stuff. It's an "Oakley Vertical 2.0" It's well padded, the exact size I was looking for, and the interior slot for the M11x is padded and won't scratch anything. Although I use the cloth sleeve that came with the M11x.

Anyone looking for it google Oakely Vertical 2.0 computer bag. It is a discontinued item form Oakely, but cost $90 from them. I found it for $50 here on base in Iraq, and talked the guy down to $40. So not too bad.

Here is an internet picture, followed by some pictures I took with everything in the bag.

That is a nice looking bag. Wonder how hard it'll be for me to find one around here.

I ordered the small one last night(alogn with Razer Imperator and RAzer Kabuto mousepad/screen protector)so I'll see how it holds up when it arrives Wednesday. If it is not what I need, it luckily comes with Amazon Prime so I can have it shipped back for $5 and get the Orion.

@Bluekornchips - when you say small one, is it the one in the link you posted before or is there any other?

The Belkin on in my link.

So I got Amazon schtuff delivered today(Amazon Prime ftw); Belkin Slim Backpack, Razer Imperator, and Razer Kabuto. The bag is a very well assembled item. It's about as thick as an Xbox 360, and and 4 or 5 inches longer. It holds my dads 13 inch Samsung laptop very well with spac to spare. The Laptop compartment feels almost velvety. It could hold the M15x but it would a very snug fit. At the bottom there is a removable velcro strip, not sure what it's for but it's there.
When I add school gear, I can fit all 5 100pg notebooks, a 130 page french workbook, and a graphing calculator. It is a very tight fit. On the two front pockets there is enough space for a mouse and headset. The backpack also comes with a special removable pouch for storing your power cable.
The weight distribution is phenomenal as well.

The bag would be great if all I did was use my soon-to-be-delivered-knock-on-wood-Alienware, but I need it to hold more than that. If you need a light, thin, backpack for any laptop under 16 inches I would definitely recomend it. For any larger laptops or combo of small laptop and books/papers, I would say keep looking. I for one am returning it and getting the Alienware Orion.

The Imperator is amazing as well. Basically a less expensive, wired, less big Mamba.

I got my Belkin backpack on Monday. I second to Bluekornchips comments. I liked that the backpack is very slim and compact. It is perfect for Alienware M11x. The laptop fits well in the laptop slot which is nicely cushioned. But the drawback of being slim and compact is that you cannot put a lot of stuff in it.
I used Wenger backpack before and now with this Belkin I am sure I wont be hitting people in the Subway or when walking down the Flight isle :)

Ordered the Alienware Orion backpack and G35 headset :D. In pictures the backpack looks it doesnt stick out like "B" shape, but more of a slimmer box shape. Anyone have any feedback on the G35? Amazon and HH gave it great reviews

I've had the G35's for about 6 months, and really like them. I don't use them daily, but when I do use them, they sound great and work really well, and are comfortable to boot.

I have not tried them on my M11x yet, but keep meaning to install the drivers and try some gaming with them. I expect them to work well with it as well.

    Nice headset for sure, enjoy!

The G35 headset is great sound quality and the mic is clear, but man can this thing causes headaches! It's super tight, hot, and heavy. Defintely returning it, not worth the hundred bucks.

And, got my Orion backpack today. Heres my review:

I don't like all these black bags. Reminds me of NYC, everything was just black. :) Now.... I remember I saw some girl posting a photo of a bag she bought in (I think) Belgium it looked really good apart from the fact that colors looked um..... fluorescent green and orange or such. I think the bad was waterproof as well, she posted a nice photo. I don't know the brand or the poster, all I remember was that bag. :(

I've been googling for the past hour trying to find that girl, well her post at least :) because I liked how the bag was built - I just wanted the same with different colors. I think it was possibly in some thread in Notebook custom mods, but just can't find it. Anyone has any clue where that post/or who that user is, please let me know.

    Has anyone seen that bag?

    Thanks!

I use the Incase Nylon Sleeve for 13" MacBook. I like it since it's light and can be used as a carrying case. It's small enough to be used as a regular sleeve that you can just throw into any bag.

    http://www.chromebagsstore.com/bags.html

is that the bags you were talking about? I think I remember the same post, wasn't the internal flurecent orange or something? I think what struck me was how it had kind of like seat buckle type fasteners.

EDIT: Just found the review I was referring too on this site, is this the same one you were talking about?

Yeah it was orange and green as far as I remember. I don't think it was NBR review, I remember a forum post with a pic. So it wasn't this, but these have potential too. :) The photo was very tacky, as the entire bag was basically fluorescent... I thought it would look great if only the colors were something like blue or red.

I also remember she bought it in a European store and when I went to it's web, it said they don't have any stores in the US. So it was a European only store, and she bought it from my recallection in Belgium or maybe France.

I think I'm gonna try my luck with Google one more time...

Well the best I got I looked up the history of my google web searches... and I found I searched for a bag "Abbrazzio Apollo 11" and before that for "Apollo II" and "Apollo 11". Then I remembered the post I read had this funky looking laptop bag claiming it was Apollo 11 (I can't forget the fluorescent pics) but now it seems Apollo are just buisness bags in glorious black and gray colors (yuck!). The post doesn't seem to exist on NBR forums anymore though.

Anyway, I found couple of more interesting links regarding bags/backpacks:

I recently ordered my m11x and I was looking into buying the Orochi and the Kabuto mousepad. However Ive been looking around the forums and my one concern for the Kabuto is if it'd fit onto the m11x. I just dont want it not being able to close or have the mousepad hanging out the edges. Since you've got both laptop and mousepad on hands...was wondering if you could let me know how it fits? =P and btw, how's the mousepad work? is it good as well? Will be looking forward to your reply and it'll be much appreaciated, thank!

Well I have his 13 inch Vaio, not quite my M11x yet :( .
It may be a combination of the Mouse and mousepad but the mousepad works amazingly well. It is smooth enough to move fast but not so smooth the mouse slides all over the place. The accuracy and control is amazing. The underside has no slip to it as well.
I let my dad try it and he was very impressed with the quality of it. He's a photographer so having a controllable mouse is great. He's considering getting one and trimming it to fit perfectly.
As for the pad fitting into his 13inch vaio it fits fine. It just doesn't fit as perfectly as i would like; its too big to cover just the keyboard, and too small to go to the edge of the keyboard. Doesn't make it bad though, just annoys a perfectionist :D

It's not a snug fit (on the sides) but it does the job nicely. It's a messenger bag that isn't enormous and it's put together quit well. Very pleased with it.

Hey Neil, you might be interested in these. I will be making them this coming summer. It will have velcrow to hold the flap down and will be lined with soft fabric. It already has foam on the backing of the fabric too.

I've got Orion messenger bag and it works quite well. Holds the M11x, mouse, mouse pad, power cord, G35 headset, cables, etc... And still room for more stuff! :) Perfect for travelling. I also ordered the Alienware M11x neoprene sleeve from ProVantage, but have been waiting on it for a while now. :(

I'm looking for one too - unfortunately, Mobile Edge want $43 (!!) to ship one to the UK !
Maybe we could combine shipping for a pair of them ?

It's also listed on DELL's US site - http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...tail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=biz&cs=555&sku=a3460823 - I was hoping they'd arrive on DELL UK too :)

Giving a heads up. Best Buy is clearancing out the large (up to 12" laptops) Case Logic E-Sling. The M11x fits in nice and snug.

I heard another user bought his for $20 (down from $40) so I decided to drive down to the one Best Buy that had them. They turned out to be clearanced down even further at this Best Buy to a low $8, so I bought the 3 they had. YMMV of course.
