Provided you have an AUO105C then yes, you'll see a correction of it's blue cast. In comparison it will be a warmer look, but on its own it should be closer to neutral more grays and more accurate color than you have when the display isn't calibrated.

Great thread! ATI seems the only graphics driver that doesn't need a workaround to get color profiles to apply. Nvidia also needs a workaround like Intel.
With your i1Display2 and i1Match software, do you have any preference of whether to use ICC v2 or v4, and Small (matrix) or Large (LUT)? There's a big difference in file size (7KB vs. 657KB) between Small and Large...not sure if it matters when it comes to just monitor calibration.
One comment on the configuration instructions as it pertains to Windows 7:
If you have specified a color profile within "system defaults," you do not need to check the "use my settings for this device" box in the regular "user" section of Color Management. That checkbox is for if you want to override what you have specified within "system defaults."
Although I like to leave the profiles within "system defaults" blank and just apply it in the "user" section with "use my settings for this device" box checked. This lets me more quickly switch between profiles and turn on/off the profile during testing. -
I almost hate to resurrect this thread - but I have noticed that my M11x-R2 appears to be "turning off" the use of the ICC profile when I Optimus switches to the discrete graphics card, and my in game colors look like crap - very blue. I've tried Powerstrip to do some kind of override with no luck - has anyone else had (or solved) this problem? Even after all this time I still love and use my M11x-R2 daily and would really like to get the colors straightened out while gaming
