    Hello,
    i have an alienware m15x (i7 940xm and 780m gtx) at home.
    I just mounted a 780m gtx that comes from a msi.
    I managed to install the driver (modd) nvidia.

    But voila, I have a white screen when starting and stopping the machine.
    I changed the vbios by putting that of svl7 but it did not change anything.

    Do you know if someone here can make me a custom vbios for my config?

    I am also looking for a bios for my alienware.
    a bios unlocked at the cpu voltage and frequency.

    Do you know if we can do that on this model?

    I know there is no bios unlock to do what you want with the CPU. Use Throttle stop for that. It's probably the most reliable way. As far as you white screen issue, I haven't messed with these M15x machines in a long time. Getting a modded VBIOS for that MSI 780m may or may not be a challenge. I really don't know.
