Hello guy, sorry keep opening threads but you guys are the best advisers!

ok i'll be simple as i can.

I ****ed up my GPU cable, i was repasting Artic Silver and broke the cable next to connecter.

The cooler is fine, but the cable are broken.

First problem, there's no M15x GPU cooler on Brazil so i'll need to import it. So if some one can help me to find this on EBAY or something like that i'll appreciate!

Are there any other Alienware models that I can get the plug off ? I could weld cable by cable and make its works again. Maybe another models i could found on Brazil. Its a 5 pin plug, maybe another m17 or m17 could use the same cooler plug.

On my last try i get it work, but no speedfancontrol and prob its in full speed.
There's any problem to use this cooler at full speed for about 1 month? ( that is the time to import a new one from somewhere )

I managed to do the same thing on my GPU fan. I had an old wireless mouse that luckily had a ribbon cable with the same exact molex plug. I cut it off and spliced the wires and it works to this day.

Your best bet is to get a new fan. It's nearly impossible to remove, and re-solder the pins inside those tiny plugs.

If you have an electronics repair shop nearby, maybe take the fan to them and see if they have some old electronics laying around that use the same plug.

Thanks for ur fast reply! I alredy tryed many stores and no one have parts from M15x, it's extremely rare Alienware notebooks on Brasil.
You extremly luck to found that plug in a old mouse, i'll disassembly all my mouses to check that, thanks for your idea!
I just need anything with the same plug so i can cut the wires and weld them, so if someone know another alienware cooler with same plug please let me know! I found some gPU and cPu coolers from m17 and m18 on Brazil, but i'm not sure if its a 5 pin plug.

Some one can link me a good seller from ebay with this M15x gpu fan?
