    Hi everyone

When I use the original Dell driver (2.57) DXVA can play back complex 1080p without any hitches on the 260M. However when I upgrade to one of the newer drivers (2.60 onwards) the Video Engine load seems to be doubled so that sometimes I even have problems playing back 720p!

On GpuZ it's showing a sharp increase in video engine load.

I assume that the video engine has become more complex in the newer driver versions and need more gpu horsepower to decode the same material. Maybe nvidia could implement a legacy video decode mode for those of us that want to play back 1080p on a 260M..

It's pretty strange because even my old 8600GS could play back 1080p without hitches (probably not with these new drivers)..

Apart from using the older driver, is there a way of fixing it? Perhaps copying one old file over to the new installation folder (to replace the new decoder with the old one?)..
