Most likely it's either not compatible (as in vbios) or it's a defective card. From the looks of it, it's not a Dell card. My 560m is green, not blue. If yours is blue, it most likely has the wrong vbios or not even compatible. I'd remove it at once. Also, I know it makes the whole situation so much worse, but that is very expensive for a 560m. Try on Ebay.

I wouldn't trust everything these sites say honestly. Hopefully you can get your money back without issues.

I traded my m11x r2 basically for an m15x with i3 and 240m, my 11x being the model with an i5 and 335m. Tablet included for the card. Searched the card serial and found the exact one online so..... hoping im not stuck

I'm not well versed in the M15x and other GPUs, as I've only owned one for a short time, but you can search the forum for some help on recognizing the vbios version of your current 560m and finding a way to flash it with a compatible one. That is the only way imo to find out if the card is defective or not, get the right vbios on it and test.

the basic rule that 560m users have established is the the blue cards wont work on the m15x only the green cards

I downloaded and burned to disk the dell vbios for their version 560m but with the 560 in the machine I cannot get to any screen to even try to flash it

The vbios flash won't work I believe that there is something physically different with the blue cards(pin connections), more info on this can be found on the 560m thread at about page 20
