hi, just wondering about my temps, its idles at around 45-48 degrees and when playing crysis on max can reach 85-87
    is this normal?

also looking at the temps on gpu-z the my temps are always around 57-80-65

how come the middle one is so high?

hmm gaming is a little on the hot side but not dangerous. Idle temps seem really cool. Did you play games or anything when monitoring with gpu-z when you got that score?

45c at idle is pretty cool for a laptop. 87c is a little hot but as long as you don't go above 95c you should be fine.

ok is it strange for the three temps to differ so much? why is the middle one much higher than the other 2?

The 5850 is gddr5 so your second temp(memory) will always be higher, if your on stock clocks then its ok just clean your vents once a week or so. Your idle temps r fine, gaming memory temp is a bit high for my taste try providing better air flow. If u plan on overclocking ur 5850 u should redo the thermal paste and pads. My temps r lower but i overclock and have redone the termal and pad recently.

Ive never used crossfire configuration, m15x cant crossfire, in any gpu memory will always be the highest temp. when i first got my m15x, and played nfshp, stock clocks high res, my temps were 68,85,71. now it wont reach 80....

I don't know much about the laptop, just about the card. maybe its normal for this laptop? has anyone tried repasting? such a difference in heat is odd.
