I have an AW m15x with Q740, 6g ram, and 5850m. It was working fine until the past couple of days. Now the clocks are stuck at 500/1000 instead of the normal 625/1000. I think it happened when I changed the power options somehow but now its just stuck.
Its not on stealth mode and it is on high performance power setting. ATI powerplay is enabled as well with maximize performance.
Basically the past couple of days the clocks are stuck at lower and I am also stuck on why this is. Any help is appreciated!

Edit: I am able to "OC" the clocks back to 625/1000 using AMD GPU clock tool but I shouldnt have to!

i had the same problem with my 5850 in the past i had to enable and disable stealth mode to get it working properly. i only had this problem after using bios A09, some users simply reinstalled the bios and others reverted back to A08, as for me i only toggled stealth mode and upgraded my gpu, so i never really solved it myself.
