I found in ebay a 680m in good price but its from an HP envy. Are all cards compatible??, somewhere I read a card with no vbios only sbios??

    Also is a 680 m a direct bolt on, I still have the 260m??

No ROM Chip/VBIOS = No go

HP cards usually do not have a ROM chip. Only a select few do. I also don't think there's a way to integrate an SBIOS into a VBIOS on any Alienware for that matter.

You're going to need to get a card with a ROM chip. The Clevo/MSI/Dell ones have them.

You want a Clevo card or a Dell one.. MSI may be problematic..

the best thing to do is to buy a DELL card (a card that was made for a DELL PC). If you can't find those, then Clevo should work without causing many issues or none at all.
