    hey all,

when i connect all 3 audio cables from 7.1 system, i was expecting to get 5.1 with 2 speakers not working or using same channel. but what i got was only front left and front right working, all others silent.

now if i unplug in the sub/centre cable and force the 5.1 to 7.1 upmix, centre isnt working and rear 4 speakers sharing 2 channels. was just wondering if there is any way of connecting any combination of cables to get 5.1 working properly. and maybe anyone can recommend 7.1 external card?

    thanks

I don't think there is any way to force it but maybe another m15x user can give us light on this.

sry for reviving old thread, but do 4 pole jacks work with m15 soundcard?

or does one pole, likely left/right, get ignored and put in one channel?

    thanks
