    Hi all,

I've dusted off my old m15x . I'd previously upgraded the RAM (16GB), GPu (7970m) and processor (i7 920XM) but came into some money and decided to build a new desktop (so haven't used it for about a year). I did a clean install of Windows 10 because I want to sell it.

Anyway long story short, after reinstalling windows and Throttlestop. It seems the processer turbo boost isn't working. I've set the multiplier to 16 T, TRL to 26 24 20 20 but its still clocking at 9 x 132.999MHz.

Its been a while since I've used Throttlestop but I think I still no how to use it. Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

Where are some screenshots? Make sure BD PROCHOT is not checked. Head to the ThrottleStop thread if you need some help. The link is in my signature.

Thanks Uncleweb. Turns out I had to toggle Speedstep in the bios (not just Turboboost). Now working again.

Thottlestop is an awesome bit of software by the way. IXU just doesn't seem to work with the 920XM so I'd have half as good a gaming rig without it.
I'll be selling the m15x with Thottlestop pre-installed and set to startup with Windows (and a link to the guide). It's amazing how great a laptop it is considering its age (fully upgraded).
