I can't seem to find much info on 802.11AC cards in the M15X. Anyone out there have a newer AC card? Care to share your experience as to speeds, antenna setup (2 vs 3), and what kind of AC router you're using? Thanks in advance.

I don't have an AC router but recently upgraded to Intel 7260AC WiFi card to prepare for getting 1Gbs fiber! It works flawless on win 10 and works well on the normal b/g/n modes. Only has two antenna connectors, not the 3 that comes on the 5300 WiFi card. Not noticed any difference in signal strength.

Thanks, that's the one I was eyeing. That model has built in bluetooth right? What kind of speeds are you getting on your N router? What kind of router is it?

Be careful. There are about 4 different models of 7260 card. One with AC and Bluetooth, one with just AC and one without AC and without Bluetooth. My router can only manage 300Mbps and I easily achieve that link speed when in the same room.

Thanks. Yeah, I see that there are different models for that card. Your router is a wireless-N, correct? I was wondering what kind of speeds can be achieved with the 2 antennas and an AC router.

I have 7260AC (with BT) and a AC router. Not sure what kind of speed you are looking for, but I can always reach the limit my Comcast provide (~150M/s) w/o any issue.
