Ok, I'm holding my hands up, this thread was here, but the last time it got updated was around the time the wheel was in its prototype phase, and here it resurfaces again.

The problem is - The Alien FX is acting a bit weird. The Alien logo (both on the back of the screen and the power button) are stuck, in my case the venomous green glow, and while editing the themes I have to switch off the advanced mode to be able to change the colours in real time.

I've tried all the options, drained the power, removed every possible trace of the Command Center, all except BIOS flash to A09 (but it's still on the agenda).

    Any clues, anyone?

Kinda solved it myself, but it's not a perfect solution.
After fiddling with admin settings (win10 wouldn't let me run FXTester until I dove deep into the local policies) I ran the FXTester. Even if the test was a fail, after I switched off the Tester it would go with my preset. Furthermore, The alien head logo is behaving a bit stubborn, all other zones switch to the preferred colour as soon as I select them in AlienFX, but the head switches ONLY after clickig APPLY (it didn't do it before that). So, if like me, you're running a Win10 64bit and with current updates, you better jump through those hoops if you wish to have its full visual disco potential realised ;)
