    Alienware 15x sound and video problems

    I realize this problem has probably already been posted, but I could find no other forums here or any other website where this problem has been described. I have an alienware 15x and everything was going somewhat well. But recently I have had sound and video problems. Sometimes sound and video simply does not work; even the starting up sound does not play. Accessing the volume control causes it to freeze (the volume control that is). YouTube videos do not play, my games do not load, nothing with sound or moving images works.

    It is totally random when this happens as well and when this happens if I restart the computer most of the time it works again. But now this doesn't always work.
