    im looking to buy an alienware comp cuz i hear there really great for gaming, So i went to there website and customised this laptop is it worth the price and what kind of changes should i add in you personal oppinion price is $2143.21 with taxes and 2 day shipping :p

    Great system imo, but it really depends on the price... with sandy bridge just released you may reconsider waiting a bit longer... or take a look at the M17x R3.

    If you decide for this system I would go with the lowest-end CPU (cheaper) and upgrade it yourself with a 920xm (or 940xm) from ebay. That would cost about 400$ and it's really a great processor imo.

    yeah you can get the r3 3d package for cheaper with pretty much better everything component wise.

    Yea i would look into the M17x r3 or buy an m15x from the dell outlet and save 1k then you could use that 1k to buy a better processor and grapics card later on. That's what I did got mine for 1k with shipping. It was an i3 with a gtx 260m. I got the 720qm for a couple bux off my friend and bought a 460m from dell for 300 (with a little haggeling).

    yeah im not much of a computer wiz so i have no idea how to upgrade it myself and this price easily fits my budget :), and i have looked at the m17 a little overpriced for me
