Recently I opened my Alienware to do a little house cleaning, I do these about every 3 or 4 months and pull out a massive wad of dust next to my heat sinks.

This time when I did it and took out the processor fan and heat sink (they are linked), something squarish fell out from where the heat pipes go toward.

Here is a picture to better explain where it is:

It's on the right hand side, above the memory sticks.

It's a square, green on one side, white + a metallic surface on the other.
I put it back into the computer. When I was done with the cleaning i put everything back in and turned the computer on to find that the LEDs on the left hand side of the keyboard were blinking. I checked on the dell website to see what it meant: Dell - Support and by the looks of it i am really ed. Is there a way to fix this myself? Perhaps i put the squarish thing in the wrong way? Also on a scale from 1-10... How ed am I?

Dell support is really bad and i am reluctant to give them the computer.
Also my warranty expired 2 years ago.

If you could use a video tutorial to explain to me how to fix that would be amazing, upload to a chinese site called ??-????????,??????,????,???? - ???? unfortunately youtube and metacafe do not work in china.

I am also a mega noob....

your first and second link doesn't show anything.

As for any website you can't access from China, a software called Freegate might help you.
